Configuring Jira Integration with Aptori

1. Configure Jira Servers (Admin Only)

Note: Only the Organization Owner can configure Jira Servers.

To add a Jira Server:

  • Go to Settings → Organization
  • Click Add Jira Server
  • Provide the following details:
  • Assign a Server Name to help identify the server
  • Jira Host
  • Member Email
  • API Token

You can configure multiple Jira servers as needed.

2. Map an Aptori Project to a Jira Project

To link an Aptori project to a Jira project:

  1. Navigate to the desired Project in Aptori.
  2. Click Link to Jira button.
  3. Select the appropriate Jira Server (identified by the Server Name you previously assigned).
  4. Choose the Jira Project to associate with the Aptori project.
  5. Click Save button.

Once linked:

  • The button will change to Jira Details.
  • To view or modify the mapping, click on Jira Details.

3. Post an Issue to Jira

To send an issue from Aptori to Jira:

  1. Open the Issue Details view.
  2. Click on Post to Jira button.
  3. The issue will be sent to the selected Jira project, and the button will change to Open in Jira.
